Garmin Instinct Solar GPS Watch Graphite

The Garmin Instinct Watch is the rugged, capable and smart multisport training GPS watch. It is specially designed with thermal, shock and waterproof (10 ATM) for outdoor sport navigation. This extreme multisport watch is able to be used as a smart watch with Connect IQ app support. It allows more customisation of Instinct watch of changing watch faces, data fields, widgets, applications and activities. The Instinct is a light multisport training GPS watch that won’t slow you down whether for training or everyday use.

Dog Tracking
With the latest software update, the Garmin Instinct watch is able to connect Garmin Alpha 100 and Astro 430 GPS handheld device to track dogs wirelessly. It means you can leave the "big" Alpha 100/Astor 430 handheld in the holster or backpack and track the dog from the small watch.

How does it work
To start with, all the devices need to have the latest software updated. Then make sure the T5/TT15 collars are connected to Alpha 100 and Astro 430 handheld. Turn the "Dog broadcasting" feature on so that the Instinct watch can receive the data from the handheld. Go to the Dog App of the Instinct watch, the dog tracking screen will start automatically. As the Instinct connects to the handheld via Bluetooth, it has to be in the range of 30 metres. It will show dogs names, directions (colour coded) and distance from you.
